I’m an old-school tech nerd living in Canton, GA, though I usually just say “Atlanta” because it’s easier than explaining where Canton is, how to get there, and why I live there. When I’m not explaining where I live, I’m geeking out over new tech, trying to find the perfect live show, or plotting my next getaway.

Tech Treks 💻

I’ve been doing this since floppy disks were actually floppy. These days I’m tinkering with AI tools and trying to figure out why my smart home keeps turning off the lights when I’m still in the room. The tech landscape keeps changing, and that’s what keeps it interesting.

Live Music 🎵

Small venues, big passion. There’s something truly magical about experiencing music in a space where the energy is palpable and the connection between artists and audience is undeniable. That’s where I thrive.

Supporting local artists is a priority for me. I’m convinced that some of the most talented musicians are right here in our communities, and I’m committed to championing their voices. I’m open to all kinds of musical genres, but Americana and singer/songwriter sets are the ones that speak to my soul.

Nomadic Quests 🛩️

I’m not the hostel-backpacking type anymore, but I’m always suitcase-ready. My happy place is somewhere down a highway, chasing quirky roadside attractions and discovering the hole-in-the-wall spots the locals keep to themselves. I love hopping in my EV with no firm plans and only a vague destination, just enough to know I’m headed toward a dot on the map I’ve never been before.

Everyone needs a corner of the internet that’s truly theirs, and this is mine. I built it with Astro and the AstroPaper theme, and it runs on a DigitalOcean VPS, a tiny Linux VM sitting in someone else’s data center, pretending to be the cloud. I write everything in Markdown, so updating the site is quick and painless. Minimal coding, maximum personality. If you want help spinning up your own, hit me up.
